Stephen Ireland says he is 'really determined' to make an impact at Aston Villa this season after revealing he was sent to Newcastle United against his will.
The midfielder joined Villa from Manchester City last summer, but made just 12 appearances prior to a January loan move to Newcastle.Stephen Ireland is a really quality midfielder in our eyes. (footballcrazybaby)
He was fantastic when he played regular for Man City, but lack of football has seen Ireland over looked by so many managers.
We believe Ireland could get in to any team in the premiership outside the top 4 and could battle for a regular place in a top 4 side. We really hope he finds a club / manager (maybe Villa) who can reasure him of his qualities and give him a full season. And at the end of the season, we really think people will be saying how good a season he and his club had!
